Covid 19 Policy 

Beyond Adventure is committed to work within both the governmen's and our governing bodies guidelines to keep our staff, customers and communities safe. Our risk assessments and operating procedures are up to date and have been sanctioned by our insurance company.

If our operational area is affected by government travel restrictions or lockdown all dates will be rescheduled. Please ensure that you have adequate cancellation insurance to cover your booking.


Beyond Adventure are fully licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). The safety of the individual and group is always of primary concern to your instructor. If you feel unhappy about any particular situation please do not hesitate to let your instructor know. By their very nature there is an inherent risk in many of the courses run by Beyond Adventure, but that risk is minimised by the expertise of our instructors and with your co-operation. 


The weather can be both fickle and severe at any time of year and if your course is adversely affected by the conditions we always attempt to provide worthwhile and meaningful instruction.
If, in extreme cases, we have to cancel a course, then we will offer you something different or a refund, dependant on the degree of disruption. 


Smoking is not permitted at the Beyond Adventure By the River Base.


All dogs are welcome at the Beyond Adventure By the River Base, please enquire if it is suitable for them to go on activity as this differs with each booking.


We welcome children of all ages on our activities, for advice on which activity would be most suitable for your family, please contact us.

Alcohol and Drugs

Beyond Adventure reserve the right to refuse participation to clients they believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in such circumstances no refunds shall be given.

Beyond Adventure reserves the right to refuse participation to any Customer whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to other participants. In such cases full cancellation charges apply and the BA shall have no further liability to that participant.

Complaints Procedure

Beyond Adventure will do everything in their power to ensure every customer has a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If any customer is dissatisfied with any part of the experience provided, the management team will take care of any complaint raised.

Photographs, Marketing & Social Media

Photographs and videos may be taken by Beyond Adventure Staff during your activity for marketing purposes. A selection of these will be uploaded to our social media sites of you to review and may be used for other marketing purposes and publications. It is our policy to retain the anonymity of our clients, we therefore never identify any group or person by their name.

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Policy

The personal data we hold on clients is :

    • Name, Address, e-mail address, mobile phone no.

    • Basic Information relating to their own booking with us.

    • We do not share or pass their data onto anyone else.

    • All medical information or disclosures are destroyed after the activity date.

Individuals rights

    • Individuals can ask to view the data we hold on them at any time.

    • We will delete their personal data (as listed above) on request within 1 week. 


Mailing Lists

• Individuals will only ever receive marketing type e-mails from Beyond Adventure if they have consented to us contacting them in this way.

• We have an opt-in to our mailing list section on our booking form.
