Embark on a hiking weekend to the magnificent High Tatras mountains and the stunning Slovak Paradise National Park. In just three days, we'll guide you to the most enchanting and awe-inspiring locations along adventurous routes. Get ready for a hiking experience like no other!
We will meet you at the Krakow Airport on the first day at 4:00 PM and drive you to your hotel in the area of the Tatra mountains. This transfer takes 2.5-3 hours, depending on traffic. After you check-in, we will review the weekend's plan over a hearty dinner.
Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast and set off on a picturesque hike all along the Belianske Tatras. Discover lesser-known trails and experience the unspoiled beauty of the area. Take a break by the stunning alpine lake Biele Pleso, bask in the sunlight, and admire the panoramic views of the rugged peaks around.
Hiking distance: 19km, 850m ascent and descent, 8 hours.
After breakfast, we'll take a short drive (about 30 mins) to Slovak Paradise National Park for an extraordinary experience in the gorges. The hike will take you along the bottom of Sucha Bela Gorge, one of the longest and most popular gorges in the park. You’ll walk through water, over fallen trees, climb ladders, and even pass through a window-like hole in the rock. Along the way, you’ll pass waterfalls, rock formations, pools and more.
Emerge from the gorge for lunch at a mountain hut, then continue your hike through Prielom Horndu Gorge. This hike is famous for its series of ledges and catwalks above the Hornad River.
Hiking distance: 16km, 700m ascent, 6 - 7 hours
This hike is the "cherry on top" of the weekend. You will get a great reward without much effort! You will reach the top of Predne Solisko peak (2,100m). However, to make your day more relaxed and enjoyable, you will take a chair lift to 1,800 meters. From here, it's a short hike up to the top of the peak, where you'll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountains.
You will get back to the Krakow Airport at around 4:00 PM. You can book your flights back home after 6:00 PM.
Hiking distance: 5km, 300m of ascent, 2,5 hours.

Sure you can. The majority of our travellers are solo travellers. You will be sharing the room with someone of your gender. We never put females and males together in one room. If you would like a single room, you can book it for 80 EUR extra and pay it when you are in Slovakia.
You will stay in a smaller guesthouse of 3* quality in one of the villages at the foot of the Tatra mountains. The rooms are spacious and recently refurbished. It has WIFI and a small wellness center with saunas and jacuzzi. The rooms don't provide toiletries and you need to bring your own.
Breakfast is usually buffet style with cold meats, cereals, eggs, sausages, fruit etc. For lunch, we stop at a local supermarket so you can buy and pack your lunch and eat what you like. For dinner, you can choose from 3 different meals. You can expect traditional meals, including chicken and pork meat with potatoes and rice. However, they can also cater to various diets if needed.

Yes, on Day 3, when you head to the Slovak Paradise National Park. You can't be afraid of heights here as you will be climbing ladders, and walking on bridges and iron platforms several meters above water level.
The currency in Slovakia is the Euro. You can pay with a card in most places. Cash is needed on 2 days when we take a break in mountain huts, which do not accept cards.
Sure, just let us know what kind of diet you have and the hotel will prepare meals according to your needs. You can indicate this on your trip form after booking or drop us a message.
Unfortunately, a drop-off in the city is not possible as the transfers are long and the traffic in the city is usually very bad. However, it easy to get to the city by train from the airport. It's only a 17 min ride and it costs around 3€.

All trips on Skyhook are run by small, hand-picked local guiding companies. For this trip your guides run Slovakation, based in Puchov.
By booking through Skyhook you'll be joining a small-group trip. This can make it nice and sociable (you'll be added to a group chat after booking), and guarantees great value for money!
