Day 1: Welcome to Slovakia!

We will meet you at the Krakow Airport on the first day at 4:00 PM and drive you to your hotel in the area of the Tatra mountains. This transfer takes 2.5-3 hours, depending on traffic. After you check-in, we will review the weekend's plan over a hearty dinner.

Day 2: Hiking the Belianske Tatras

Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast and set off on a picturesque hike all along the Belianske Tatras. Discover lesser-known trails and experience the unspoiled beauty of the area. Take a break by the stunning alpine lake Biele Pleso, bask in the sunlight, and admire the panoramic views of the rugged peaks around.

Hiking distance: 19km, 850m ascent and descent, 8 hours.

Day 3: Hike Sucha Bela and Prielom Hornadu Gorges

After breakfast, we'll take a short drive (about 30 mins) to Slovak Paradise National Park for an extraordinary experience in the gorges. The hike will take you along the bottom of Sucha Bela Gorge, one of the longest and most popular gorges in the park. You’ll walk through water, over fallen trees, climb ladders, and even pass through a window-like hole in the rock. Along the way, you’ll pass waterfalls, rock formations, pools and more.

Emerge from the gorge for lunch at a mountain hut, then continue your hike through Prielom Horndu Gorge. This hike is famous for its series of ledges and catwalks above the Hornad River.

Hiking distance: 16km, 700m ascent, 6 - 7 hours

Day 4: Hike to Predne Solisko Peak

This hike is the "cherry on top" of the weekend. You will get a great reward without much effort! You will reach the top of Predne Solisko peak (2,100m). However, to make your day more relaxed and enjoyable, you will take a chair lift to 1,800 meters. From here, it's a short hike up to the top of the peak, where you'll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountains.

You will get back to the Krakow Airport at around 4:00 PM. You can book your flights back home after 6:00 PM.

Hiking distance: 5km, 300m of ascent, 2,5 hours.

What an unforgettable experience! The 3-day guided hiking trip was incredibly well-organized and led by the amazing Ondrej — a knowledgeable, passionate, and truly inspiring guide. The trails we explored ranged from picturesque and peaceful to wonderfully challenging, offering something for every level. I feel so lucky to have shared this journey with such a lovely group of people — professional, warm, and genuinely friendly. Although we had just met, it felt like we’d known each other for ages. The camaraderie, the shared laughs, and the uplifting spirit of the group made the adventure even more special. This was my first trip like this, but it certainly won’t be my last. A heartfelt thank you to Nicola, Oliver, Elaine, Sofie, Claire, Simon, Spencer — and especially Ondrej — for making it such an incredible experience!

Fantastic trip with an amazing guide Ondrej. Ondrej did a fantastic job, communicated everything clearly, gave us the right amount of information and insights into the country/Tatras mountains and had a great sense of humour too! He really looked after us! The itinerary itself was great, lots of varied hikes and I was especially impressed by the meals!! Lastly, I had an amazing group… had the best time chatting, laughing and exploring with them! I’ve done at lot of group travels and this trip ranks very highly!

An excellent trip! Three days of hiking in such beautiful scenery. Our guide, Ondrej, was the best tour guide I have met. He was very passionate about his job and took great pride in explaining interesting information about where we were trekking and the history of this very nice part of the world. In short, the perfect guide. Everyone on this trip was simply amazing and we all became good friends. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great outdoor experience together with great food and a good laugh!

We had a wonderful time in the High Tatras. The guide Ondrej was superb - very knowledgable about the area and its history and had a great sense of humour. The treks were wonderful and varied and the landscape beautiful. What made our trip even more special was the group we were with - they were a fantastic bunch. Would definitely recommend this trip.

What can i say? Miro, oh Miro! What a fantastic person to have as a guide. Always smiling, always calm, always extremely pleasant company. Happy to share his wonderfully colourful life stories. A real living hero. An ultra trail runner in his spare time. He is living his own dream. Doing what he wants, doing what he is best at. A man born in the mountains, raised in the mountains, built by the mountains, at one with the mountains. The one person you need with you in the mountains. His knowledge and strength provide all the reassurance you will ever need. It was an honour to have shared an unforgettable experience with such a wonderful human being. After just 3 days, i am happy to call him my friend. ❤️ Ďakujem veľmi pekne, hrdina z hôr ⛰️🏃

It’s highly recommended you take out personal travel insurance. Travel cover protects you in the case of unforeseen circumstances including cancellations, injuries, equipment loss, flight changes and other events that could negatively impact your trip. We suggest specialist adventure travel insurers, [Rise & Shield](https://riseandshield.com/). They cover 100s of activities and are easy to deal with if you need to make a claim. They also cover unique scenarios, like trekking at altitude or emergency evacuation in hard-to-reach places, that ordinary travel insurance doesn’t cover.

On your trip

You will stay in a smaller guesthouse of 3* quality in one of the villages at the foot of the Tatra mountains for 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and recently refurbished. It has WIFI and a small wellness center with saunas and jacuzzi. The rooms don't provide toiletries and you need to bring your own.

Yes, on Day 3, when you head to the Slovak Paradise National Park. You can't be afraid of heights here as you will be climbing ladders, and walking on bridges and iron platforms several meters above water level.

Breakfast is usually buffet style with cold meats, cereals, eggs, sausages, fruit etc. For lunch, we stop at a local supermarket so you can buy and pack your lunch and eat what you like. For dinner, you can choose from 3 different meals. You can expect traditional meals, including chicken and pork meat with potatoes and rice. However, they can also cater to various diets if needed.

We will meet on the first day at the Krakow Airport in Poland at 4:00 PM. Our guide will wait simply in front of Arrivals with a Skyhook sign. On the last day, we will drop you off back at the Krakow Airport in Poland at around 4:00 PM.
