Sailing-Hiking Sporades Islands Sporades is a complex of islands situated in the north Aegean Sea, close to mainland Greece. It is comprised mainly of three islands, Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos, and many other isles and rocks, with common characteristics the crystal, deep blue waters, and the rich flora. The pine trees reach down to the sea level, giving a turquoise color to the sea. The shape of the islands (and small scattered isles around them) creates a big number of small gulfs, where the yacht anchors and guests can relax and enjoy swimming, snorkeling, paddling, and hiking short routes. Alonissos with its unique flora and fauna comprises the first Greek National Marine Park, also the biggest one in Europe. Sporades islands are gifted with a soft wind, as they are protected from the northern wind (Meltemi) that overwhelms the Aegean Sea during summer months. Thus, Sporades offer a relaxed sailing and hiking trip, suitable for families and groups that want to enjoy relaxed holidays on a sailing yacht.

The crew Welcomes you on board. Meet the skipper and your guide while planning the trip with a welcome drink. Get settled in your cabins, while the crew gets the supplies ready for the trip. We set sails for our first island Alonnisos. The island is the most remote of the Northern Sporades island group, Aegean Sea, and plays host to the National Marine Park of Northern Sporades, a refuge for rare seabirds, dolphins, and the Mediterranean monk seal, Monachus monachus.
The island has a few inhabitants and is part of the natural park of Alonnisos. Enjoy the silence and the crystal-clear waters for swimming, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. Lunch on board. In the evening we can go on a hike to the monastery, from which the island took its name.
The small port of Steni Vala is perfect for walking coast to coast, we can go swimming at a beach located 5 minutes away from our mooring point and then enjoy a fresh fish meal in a taverna.
We stop for a swim before we arrive at the main port of Skopelos. Skopelos town is a traditional small town on the north of the island. It has declared a traditional settlement. Free time to visit the Chora and enjoy the nightlife of the island for a drink or two.
We sail through Skopelos and stop for a swim before we arrive in the main port of Skiathos, which has a great historical and cultural interest as well as vivid nightlife!
We continue our trip heading towards the Pagasitikos Gulf and our next destination is the quiet and small island of Trikeri. There are no cars on the lush green island. Most of the island’s infrastructure consists of hiking trails.
