Itinerary

Day 1: Meet your guide and yoga session

Meet your guide at Agadir airport at anytime. You'll then head over to the west coast, to the town of Tamraght in Taghazout Bay. You'll settle into your accommodation, a traditional Moroccan Riad with pool, then dive straight into your first yoga session. Afterwards, you'll enjoy some dinner in the tranquil courtyard under swaying palm trees.

You'll wake nice and early with a morning yoga session, before heading to the beach for your first surf. Beginners who have never or rarely surfed before will have lessons, and today is all about getting used to the movement of the board and building up confidence in the water.

After lunch and some more surfing, you'll return back to the Riad for a dip in the pool. In the evening, stretch out your muscles with another yoga session and a guided meditation, as the sun begins to set - it's a great way to reduce any stress and promote positive emotions.

Enjoy a home-cooked Moroccan dinner next to the pool in the courtyard of your Riad.

Now that you've got the swing of things, your guide will help you to progress your skills on the waves. Learn how to paddle, pop up, turn and read the waves so you can start to catch more waves for longer.

Before heading out to one of Taghazout's many restaurants, you'll have an opportunity to enjoy a sunset yoga session.

Today your guide will help you hone your surf skills, analyse your pop up, and help you with small adjustments to your technique.

Relax your body and mind after a day of surfing with a combined sunset evening yoga and Yoga Nidra session, which focuses on restoration. Then enjoy a traditional Moroccan feast next to the pool in the courtyard of your Riad.

Today will be your final chance to polish up your surf skills. The guide will help you to combine all the skills that you have learnt during the week to grab some waves.

In the evening, you'll enjoy a final yoga session with your new surf mates, before heading into Taghazout for dinner.

Our stay in June for 9 made for an unforgettable trip, and I can't thank the hosts enough for making all elements of our stay enjoyable. Mint Surf is an easy recommendation to anyone. We went in June, into "off season", and found it a great time to stay. All their recommendations were bang on, especially food (their food was all you could want).

I've just returned from a fantastic week learning to surf with Mint Surf. I travelled alone and was nervous about what to expect as an absolute beginner, but Courtney & Mousef couldn't have been better hosts and made me feel completely at home. I stayed in the main Mint Surf property which was clean, beautifully decorated and provided great breakfast. Soufian & Karim were excellent instructors and helped me progress quickly, providing a great balance of friendliness and encouragement while pushing me to try harder and keep going. Can't wait to return!

We had a fabulous stay at Mint Surf with surfing package. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and very relaxed. The hosts, owners and yoga and surf instructors were all amazing and we had a great time surfing, doing yoga and exploring the local area. My partner was a beginner surfer and we were both quite new to yoga but the instructors always made us feel confident and safe, and were great at giving advice and tips. Would definitely recommend Mint Surf!

What. A. Place! Super welcoming and the people who work there are knowledgeable (about surf, the culture and the place), helpful and fun to be around. Rooms are beautiful, clean and a great size. Great surf camp vibe but also the freedom to go off & do your own thing. All round wonderful 10 days with Mint Surf Camp. Thanks again to Courtney and the gang 💙
