This trip is led by Brahim and the guiding team in Morocco.
You will leave the van on the road leading up to Imlil at Imi Oughlad (1400m), where you will meet a Berber muleteer and guide. Your first day will consist of an easy acclimatization hike in Ouirgane National Park. The landscape is softer here, with green soil and juniper trees. You will spend the night in a gîte in Tinzert, a little rustic Berber town that takes around 4 hours to walk to.
After breakfast, you'll climb out of the valley and make your way to the breathtaking Azzaden Valley. The views will show you a mountain stream flanked by thick walnut forests that leads up to Toubkal. After around 6 hours of trekking, you will spend the night in the gite at Ait Aissa Village.
A wonderful ascent out of the valley Azzaden awaits you on this day. You will leave the valley and travel to Tizi Oussem, from where you will ascend to the Tizi-n-Mzik (2489m) pass before descending to Imlil. After lunch in Imlil, you will be driven back to Marrakech; you will have plenty of time in the evening to explore the city, which will take roughly 5 hours of strolling.
