This Mountain Biking adventure in Kenya is a truly unique way to explore the African Plaines.
You'll be met by your guide at Wildebeest Eco camp in Langata, Nairobi. From here, you'll head to the edge of the national park where you'll start your biking adventure to Maji Moto Cultural camp.

After breakfast, you'll ride out of the cultural camp into the Massi Mara plains and up into the Loita Hills. Today you can expect to ridge amongst the giraffes and zebras, as you make your way to camp. The evening will be spent around the campfire to the sounds of the surrounding wildlife.

An early start so we can be on our way before the sun gets too hot. Today you will ride out of the Loita Plains and into the greater Mara. The closer we get to the park the more animals we should see. We'll arrive at camp before sunrise.

Today we spend in the mara on game drives to see some of the bigger animals.

Another early start today will be a spectacular ride. We will be heading deeper into the heart of the Mara, being sure to keep your eyes peeled for more wildlife.

Today is your last day on bikes. We do half a day of cycling on a dirt road and single track to our lodge Arrive at the lodge settle into rooms, have lunch followed by afternoon game drive.

Morning game drive followed by a transfer back to Nairobi. Drop off by 6 pm at the Wildebeest eco-camp.

Yes a element of fitness is required. We will however tailer the trip to your ability. You need to be able to cycle 20-30km in a day. 30-50 would be better.
Riding gear, Anything on the what to bring list, any additional merchandise (t-shirts, DVD’s, etc), any optional extra activities, and personal accident insurance.
No you dont we will provide a mt bike for you (a hard tail) If you have your own and you want to bring it. Please do. We will help assemble it if required. We will look after you (bike bag/box)
The camping will in 2 man safari tents. Shared of Single (supliment applies) You will be provided with a mattress, pillow and blankets
Its not technical riding but you need to be able to ride single track. We will match the riding to your ability
We will avoid all the big 5 wildlife areas. We dont want to see the Big 5 up close on the bikes. In high wildlife areas we will either have a support vehicle in front and behind clearing the way or we will transport through. There is always an emelent of risk when Mt Biking.
