Today is the start of our desert tour, we drive from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou, via the Ounila Valley. Traverse the High Atlas Mountains via the highest main road pass in Morocco, at 2260m altitude, offering stunning views and exhilarating driving. The route passes lush valleys and traditional adobe Berber villages. After the pass, we get to the gateway of the desert where we will have a visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Visit this fortified village – essentially a living museum, it is a ksar comprising numerous dwellings, and for years used as the backdrop in many international films. later, we continue our driving through the dades valley via the rose valley.
After a traditional breakfast, you'll start your trekking in Dades valley to enjoy one of the most beautiful scenic in the valley and get interacted to the berber lifestyle . later on , enjoy your lunch with berber family. then your guide will take you to the dades gorges which runs through the most beautiful canyon in the Atlas Mountains. The day draws to a close as you get back at your accommodation in the early evening .
After your breakfast , we depart towrads the Todra River which runs through the most beautiful canyon in the Atlas Mountains. .
. Stopping off along the way at some beautiful panoramic views of the valley, you'll enjoy lunch. then we continue our driving towards the desert. In the afternoon you'll hop on your camels and head deeper into the desert and arrive at your nomadic camp just before sunset. There, you’ll be treated to a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious local mint tea, and enjoy some traditional Berber music underneath the stars and moonlit sky.
Waking at sunrise, you'll head out of the Sahara Desert and visit the old crossroads of the West African caravan routes. It's origin is the establishment of the Alaouite dynasty (17th Century), which still holds power in Morocco today. Including dinner and breakfast .
Today, you'll drive from Ouarzazate to Marrakech via anti-Atlas Mountains visiting one of the remaining kasbahs that stands in the edge of Tichka Pass. Your guide will drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech to enjoy some free time in the evening. Including breakfast .

You can expect to find wifi at the guest houses we use on the tours.
There is no wifi service in the Sahara desert. If you have an urgent need to stay connected you should buy a SIM card from network operator Orange. You should be able to find an Orange outlet in the Marrakech medina on Boulevard Mohamed V, or near the Place Ferblantiers. Alternatively at the Almazar shopping centre which is out of town.
Sometimes, free SIM cards are handed out at the Marrakech airport.
