Enjoy Wild Camping in secluded Cornish woodland and combine it with the most popular water sports activities for a true Cornish Adventure
You will meet your hosts, guides and other adventurers on your weekend at our HQ bang in the centre of Newquay at 6pm. Once the warm welcomes and introductions have been made, you'll drive in convoy to our Wild Camp, a 10 min drive from the town. If you are arriving by public transport, let us know and we can help arrange a lift with the instructors or other adventurers! You then have the rest of the evening to become accustomed to camp living and to get to know the others on your weekend.
After a camp breakfast of cereals, fruits, teas & coffees you will head back into Newquay for your first day filled of activities.
You'll meet your guide at 9ish for a short brief before heading down to the beach for your surf lesson. Most people on the trip are beginners, but there is often an option for something a little more challenging, should you want to. There will be plenty of time between activities to grab some lunch, take a stroll around Newquay’s many surf shops or head back to the base and hang out in the garden. In the afternoon you’ll take a short walk over to our coasteering location, commonly known as the ‘Gazzle’. Don’t worry if you aren’t confident in the sea, your guide will explain and demonstrate all the skills you need to have a fantastic time.
After a refreshing breakfast, you'll wave goodbye to the wild camp and head back to Newquay, jump into a wetsuit and hit the Cornish waves one last time. Your second surf lesson builds on the previous day's experience – today is all about having fun in the surf!
By 1 pm you'll typically all surfed out, and with your appetite for adventure satisfied it’s time to say fond farewells.
