What can I say. From start to finish we were looked after so good and was so organised. Transfers were perfect. Food and breakfast was great. Hotel was nice. Refuge was full but we had the option to sleep under the stars in a tent which was a great experience. Guides were brilliant to, They even made a birthday cake off there own back for one of the people on the group which was a nice touch. All in all was a great 4day trip. Great value for money. Higher recommended ❤️

Such an amazing experience, from start to finish. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The whole trip was very well organised and professional. The food provided during the trip was lovely and fresh, and accomodation provided was great. Honestly couldn't fault the trip.

All in all a very good trip , well planned out, the guides were great and accommodation was good. Only a couple of issues. 1 , would have been nice to have been picked up a little earlier from marrakesh, we was wondering around all day until 730pm after having to check out of our hotel at 11am also was quite late by time we got there and ate etc that night. 2, some of the meals provided didn't have much cards needed for energy other than bread , more rice ,pasta or oats would have been ideal, very important to get the correct diet when expending so much energy. 3, a little more freedom with the pace on the trek, we had 3 guides, splitting us into 3 groups based on ability and speed would have been ideal, found we was waiting around a lot at times and out in the sun longer than we needed to be also tripping up over people infront of us going slower . Other than that thoroughly enjoyed it and am booking another trip soon 👍.

Group size far too big, 27 in total. Unlike previous trips this meant very limited interaction with guide. Food not great in refuge, breakfast just bread and jam, not ideal when about to attempt difficult trek could do with some more calories in you.

This was my first time with Skyhook and first climbing a non-UK mountain. The support from start to end was fantastic and accommodated the range of speeds our group of 12 had. Make sure to take toilet roll to the refuge and hand gel is recommended. Loved it!

Myself and my husband completed the Mount Toubkal trek in October 2024. I believe others had booked onto our trek but pulled out at the last minute due to illness, this meant we were the only 2 people on our trek. At first I was a little nervous about this but it turned out to make the experience even better as we had a "private" tour guide and shared memorable experiences with each other and our guide. Our guide Abdul made our trip what it was. He worked tirelessly to ensure we were always happy and safe on the mountain. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humour, we shared many funny moments together. He even gave me his gloves at the summit as my hands were still cold (despite having gloves of my own). The food was also excellently prepared by our chef and muleteer, with extra generous portions to keep you fuelled. The logistics were all taken care of - extremely impressive and professional. Don't forget to take cash with you into the mountains and tip generously. The incredible guides, chefs and muleteers work relentlessly and often run back-to-back treks without a break at peak season (up to 4 per week!). We were aching the days following our trip and could believe our guide woke up the next day to do it all again. What an experience! One we'll remember forever.

Has a fantastic couple of days hiking in the high Tatra and the Slovak paradise. The Sucha Bela gorge especially good fun. Jan was a great guide and kept us motivated and showed us the routes and was attentive to our needs. Jan also enjoyed himself foraging for giant mushrooms in the forests- which the overnight hotel then cooked for us. Overall it was a great short break. Would go back the Tatras again. Thanks

What can I say, absolutely loved every minute of my 3 Peaks challenge last weekend. Kev B our guide was excellent. We had every weather known to man but thoroughly enjoyed it. I won’t lie it was hard going but the views and sense of achievement after was great. I’ll definitely be looking at booking something else.

Our guide Kev was fantastic, the hotel was really good, the transport was well organised. Skyhooks process of accepting people onto a "challenge" was poor and made what should have been an excellent experience very disappointing. The fact that one of the participants had the guide carry his bag from the first mile of the first mountain was an absolute joke. I shall never be booking a "challenge" through Skyhook again. For this type of activity I suggest you find like minded people who you personally know and trust will take it as seriously as you do. To not complete this in the 24 hours because of others lack of preparation was so frustrating.

Got what i paid for. However customers left at Hotel when they left early....she had to get Taxi to airport. guide wile was knowledgeable didn't pass any information on about mountain! Guide left people behind on return journey and failed to inform the group of return location !

Trip of a lifetime! This was excellent value for money. Atlas organised the trip very well and was on hand to help with any questions via whatsapp and on arrival. Muhammad was an amazing guide on the hike - super patient, kind and a true expert in his field - guiding us all with care and enthusiam to the summit! Definitely recommend!

really amazing experience, highly recommend. beautiful views, good hiking, nice accommodation on the first and third night, fresh food made by chefs. everything really is included: equipment like head torches/ sleeping bags if you don't have them, all the transfers only issue was miscommunication on first day, the guide left the central Marrakech meeting point early to go to the airport. I was there at 7:25 but they had already left, so I had to get a taxi alone to the airport to meet the group. this was organised last minute very well by lahouciene but easily could have been avoided guides were really lovely and knowledgeable , would have been nice if they told the group more about the region at breaks / free time

I really enjoyed this trip. It is a great introduction to hiking at altitude.The group was a mixture of guys and girls ranging from early 20's up to 60 years old. The guides were able to keep a pace that suited such a diverse group expertly. The accommodation was basic but homely comfortable and charming. The food was the biggest surprise, we were given gorgeous meals and plenty of it. As for the mountain the views from the top are spectacular. I would recommend anyone to do this trip. 5 stars

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Lukas, was fabulous. He really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the kayaking in the fjords, wild camping on the shore and walking up to, and above, Pulpit Rock. I'd definitely recommend this trip!

This was an amazing adventure. Between our guide Kush and our assistant guide Benja we could not have asked for more. They were not only professional and informative but also knew how to lighten the mood when the trekking got tough. Every step of the journey was challenging and breath taking at the same time. From nights in the tea houses to sunrise on the mountains it was more than we expected or hoped for. Hats off to Skyhook and Freedom Adventures for the trip of a lifetime.

Did the 12-day EBC hike with Lal as our guide and Aidhan as our porter! No regrets, as they really looked after us throughout the hike! We encountered some bad weather at the higher altitude and many groups didn't make it to EBC. However, with Lal's 20+ years of experience, he took us safely through and we managed to reach the destination! So thankful for him. The hike was made more difficult with continuous rain & snow as it was still end Sep (end Monsoon season). We managed to fly from Kathmandu to Lukla to start the hike, instead of taking a jeep to the other domestic airport. The trails and teahouses were not as crowded too, making it a better experience. When we left in early Oct, we could see the crowds start to come in. We also topped up for a private toilet in most of the teahouses, which was quite convenient and sometimes comes with hot showers and charging in the room. Upendra was also responsive to our questions prior to our trip and made things very seamless for us, including baggage and airport transfer. Overall, would highly recommend them!

Our guide Sandra was amazing, from the start worked hard to ensure we had the best time. Unfortunately we had poor weather lots of rain which made our wild camping experience tricky dispite having the right clothing for the conditions the camping equipment and site (which was swamp like) was inadequate for our needs from the start . No dry areas to pitch tents. The tents leaked, our guide had to cook in pouring rain with no cover, no where to shelter to eat and sit together and no contingency plan for weather conditions. No where to dry anything. Yes we signed up for wild camping but feel for future clients the camping equipment and camp site needs to be updated and reviewed. The kayacking was amazing and equipment was brilliant, the food was great 😊 as was the hike.

There’s no such thing as bad weather in Scotland and you only can get wet to the skin! A trip of many emotions, it’s challenging in all the right ways and such a sense of accomplishment. I felt safe all the time as a solo traveller and included within the group it was a holiday I will never forget… So negatives … the weather can make certain parts more challenging but that is character building 🤣 Positives … the guides are friendly and inclusive, the food was way better than I expected (thanks Geoff) and if you don’t know how to do something they teach you and check you are ok :) including putting a tent up and learning how to paddle etc etc Overall if you’re considering this I would say go for it; but be prepared to be cold and wet at times, tired and a little achy 🤣 read the kit list well and ensure u have the things you really need! Oh and remember to look up the scenery is awesome!

On my way home from this adventure. Had a great time. Brilliant guides in Chucky and Geoff, engaging, full of stories, and looked out for us all. The food catered for all needs, just let them know beforehand. The snack bucket went down a treat 😀 Plenty of challenges whether it be from canoeing, wind and waves, rain, cold toes ( get your footwear right) or wild camping and all it entails. You really don't need many clothes, work on layers. A head torch makes life easier with free hands. A battery pack is handy for charging your phone for all the photos. Good waterproofs are an essential against the wind and rain potential. A hat can hide all manners of hair sins! If you want something to gently challenge you, make new friends and connect you with nature then this is great thing to do. A mix of couples, friends and solo travellers quickly got to know each other and have fun. Definitely recommend.🙂

Had a fabulous time, our guides Sam and Pete did an amazing job, after seeing the weather forecast they decided the safest and greatest chance of completing the trip, was to do the trip in reverse. This enabled us to sail our canoes over Loch Ness, now known to us as The Ness. We encountered other trips and tour operators which started a day after ours and coming from the other direction, they were having a tough time battling the wind direction. We met some great people and have already arranged to meet up with a few.

This trip was absolutely amazing. We had the best guides in Sam and Pete. They had researched the weather so we started at Inverness, this decision meant we managed to complete the entire trip, where other groups did not. We stayed on the banks of the lochs with home cooked food which Sam mostly cooked. The trip catered for vegans and vegetarians. We simply had the best time and as a group bonded really well. I can't recommend this trip enough. You get highly skilled guides, excellent food and a really amazing experience 10/10

Our rafting, canyoning & kayaking trip on Cetina River was a wonderful experience! It was very well organised and a good combination of different adventurous activities. The accommodation in the old town of Omiš was superb. Our local guides from Malduk agency - Eva, Dado and Toni - really did an excellent job! We timely received all the relevant information and instructions, as well as answers to our queries and requests. The transfers and necessary logistics worked out without any problems. While sometimes out of the comfort zone, we always felt safe and in good hands. Overall, it was a memorable and exciting trip, highly recommend!

A fantastic experience was had by the group I met up with. The accommodation was very good and the food was wonderful. The experiences were good fun with the canyoning being the most challenging. I would recommend eating and drinking plenty beforehand to ensure you have enough energy for the 4 hours you are out. The pickups were all on time and can thoroughly recommend the trip.

What an incredible 4 days we have just had kayaking and hiking to Pulpit rock. Breath taking scenery, from the gentle slopes with cabins and farms over to the dramatic fjord, and the climb was stunning. We were very lucky with sunny weather, so much easier for being outside all day and camping, and we lucked out with our group, including Adam our extremely knowledgeable, calm yet enthusiastic to show us incredible nature (including a night kayak to see bioluminescent algae). A real outdoor adventure weekend that was very memorable.

I had a wonderful experience on this trip, meeting some amazing people. Our guide Sandra was exceptional. Mature beyond her years, she gave us a wonderful insight into this amazing place. A true nature lover, we got to see this part of the world through her eyes. She appreciates nature, is in tune with the landscape and the ecosystem and brings this knowledge and passion to the fore. She is experienced ,safe, kind, a wonderful teacher and rustles up an amazing meal from seemingly nowhere. We swam, kayaked, hiked, watched seals, spotted star fish and Blue Mussels and sat around the fire sharing stories. I can’t rate this trip highly enough

This was a fantastic experience. The whole group were great fun and our two guides, Geoff and Chris, were brilliant. Both have been doing this trip for many years and were very experienced being able to deal with any situation to make the whole thing a very relaxed and enjoyable time. Some days can be long and you'll feel like you've worked up an appetite by the end of the day. Campside evening meals prepared by our guides were excellent , but the most impressive thing was the way they managed to ensure the weather stayed dry and sunny all week with light winds. Still don't know how you did this lads! So if you want a week away from the rat race, with a sense of adventure, stunning views good company, then I thoroughly recommend this trip.

Loved it! It goes without saying that the scenery was breathtaking, but I wasn’t prepared for just how stunning it would be. And it was so peaceful, absolute soul food and just the tonic I needed. All smoothed along by a great bunch of people and two fantastic guides, Sam and James, who kept everything running perfectly. As a vegan, I was concerned what the food situation would be like, but I didn’t need to worry, the food was delicious and well balanced for the task.

An absolutely fantastic trip - can't recommend it enough. A friend and I did this trip along with 8 others between the 16th to 20th of September 2024. It was well organized and superbly overseen by our guides Sam and James - both of whom were brilliant. The ever changing scenery is a joy, the overnight camps were wonderful and the end feeling of achievement is wonderful. It's fairly challenging but something that anyone with a reasonable level of fitness could undertake.

You do need a fairly good level of fitness ( doing something cardio a few times a week)to get the most out of the holiday and be ready to share in dorms/ showers.

I think it’s fantastic what people are able to achieve, however I think it would be better if people’s levels were properly serviced. I was aware of the pace needed to complete the challenge however due to others in the group aiming for a much quicker time, other members of the group got left behind which ruined the experience for me. While my goal was to take part and push myself for charity close to my heart, being forced to work at the pace of the quickest person in the group meant complete failure which as you can imagine was very disheartening. To alleviate this I think having two guides would really help, one at the front one at the back. By no means is this an easy feat to accomplish but you do a disservice when you add extra pressure by only caring about those who were pushing for the faster quicker times. That being said the people involved were great, although my guide did not check in with me on why I failed the first mountain at all (again seeming only to care about those who were flying at pace) they seemed genuine, and particularly the drivers were very friendly which was good. The accommodation was poor, while it might be listed as 3 star I’d imagine this is closer to a 1 or 2 star establishment. Hopefully my constructive criticism helps you create better experiences for those taking part.

He was incredibly knowledgeable, providing interesting insights and anecdotes about the Mont Blanc area, and he made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the hike. This was my first hut to hut hiking experience and I was a little apprehensive. I needn't have been. The pace was comfortable and although challenging in places with the rocky terrain underfoot and some steep ascents, it was manageable and the stunning scenery and views certainly made it worthwhile. The huts we stayed in were basic, as expected but the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful in all the ones we stayed in. It was clear that Ian, our guide was very experienced in several outdoor activities and his passion for the outdoors shone. His communication skills, both before and during the trip meant we all had clear expectations and helped us gel as a group. Safety was always a priority, not just for our group but others we came across on the mountains. In all, the whole trip, group, guide and most of all the landscape was amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

This was an amazing trip, each day unique in its own way. The Pyrenees are breath taking, with jaw dropping scenery beautiful lakes and mountain vistas. The walk was challenging but doable and the guide ensured the pace was right for the full group. The guys are basic but clean comfortable with friendly staff and great food, the locations of them are amazing. Our guide was fabulous, his English was excellent and his knowledge of the area was exceptional. Nothing was a problem and I really felt he went above and beyond. If anything I think this trip is underpriced for everything that was included- I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic trip led by Ian, our amazing local guide. The lakes and mountain landscape was stunning, totally beyond expectations. Huts were comfortable in stunning settings, food great - catering to all diets, the sleeping arrangements are shared and cosy ( normal for huts). Hike was a bit challenging re terrain, boulders and rocks, distances and elevation were manageable ( even for me who had broken my ankle in England a few months before). Ian totally made the trip, such a passionate guide who went above and beyond to ensure we all had a wonderful experience. Great to share it with such a lovely group of people.

This was an amazing trip. Our hosts Eva and Dado were so welcoming and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. Our group consisted of around 10. 6 of us solo travellers, one couple and one mum and son. We all got on really well and there was no pressure to spend every minute together. Accommodation is basic but good. Restaurant has good choices and good quality. Canyoning was my favourite but be warned it is challenging. I booked on for zip too which was amazing! Sea kayak was ok but bit boring. I’m an adrenaline junkie though! Beautiful setting. You won’t be disappointed

Amazing hiking Tour de Mont Blanc! September 2024, My first backpacking adventure - a four day trip on the Tour De Mont Blanc based in Chamonix. Really enjoyed it, challenging enough for a fifty something like me. Well organised and led by our tour guide the wonderful Mr Grigor Wallace. Stunning scenery on show, if the weather obliges. This was an excellent trip under the professional guidance of our Alps Adventures leader Grigor Wallace. The trek is tough - you gotta be fit and have plenty of stamina - but with the right group and the right Guide it is possible, rewarding and enjoyable. Right from the star Grigor ensured our equipment was correct, that we had the capability, and once we were off he constantly briefed us on the route and added in many gems of information about the local landscape, the flora and fauna and geology. His combination of professionalism and ability to connect at a personal level helped make everyone feel secure and confident. The hostels/refuges are a bit on the basic side but that's trekking life for you. Go for it, and ask for Grigor.

Fantastic Tour Du Mont Blanc! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and I am so glad to have been part of such an amazing group of people. Everyone in our group was caring, always helping each other, and constantly cheering each other on. We shared a lot of good laughs, making the experience even more memorable. A special mention goes to our guide, Mr. Grigor. He was incredibly attentive and superb in all the details, ensuring we felt comfortable and safe throughout the hike. The Tour du Mont Blanc (highlights, 4 days) is a superb experience! It's a physically challenging hike, but one that offers great views of the Mont Blanc massif. Hi we had a really good trip with Alps Adventures the guide Charles was unique in that he was a geologist and Botanist, he is a Yoga Teacher and a spiritual leader. he brought a whole other level of interest to the four days of Hiking. he had great contact with the whole group and held everyone together very well. the outdoor picnic lunches in the mountains were spectacular. overall i would say it would be hard to get a better guide. Accommodation on the first night was a tight squeeze for some of the group. but over all the trip was well worth doing.

Fantastic experience, highly recommend! I went early September after the bridge closed so a slightly different route but we didn't miss out. We had a great guide in Charles, kept the team motivated and helped everyone to find their own pace, happy to share his knowledge of the area and nature. It is a challenge as to be expected and I found the climb on day three the most challenging but also the most rewarding. The dinners at the accommodation were great and we got to share some delicious picnic lunches. I highly recommend booking, taking time to prep (with as much experience of long ascents with your backpack as you can get if a newbie to multiday hikes like me!) and making sure to pack light on the day!

Fabulous! This was a super organised trip from airport pick up to airport drop off. Despite a slightly altered itinerary, as the the Mt Blanc tunnel was closed, we completed 4 days of stunning hikes, some more challenging than others . On day 4 we received the super reward of incredible views of Mt Blanc, and tip top late lunch prior to returning home. I can’t thank Mark our guide enough for his ability to create a supportive team from a fabulous bunch of people, who all came together to make a memorable fun trip. Mark supported those who were struggling, encouraged us all to work together, as well as providing a fantastic overview of the area from historical information, geological events, and other fascinating facts. Thank you Mark. If you do this trip practice walking up hills, the elevation is hard work!

Overall I thought this was a really great trip. The guides were excellent and the scenery is fantastic. I arrived a day early and stayed at hotel Ali. It's not 5* but it is comfortable with plenty of hot water and it's central to Marrakech main square. The transfer to Imlil went smoothly and we became acquainted as a group. And, we were extra lucky because it was a great group of people. The trek however is not for the faint hearted. The walk from Imlil is 12k and it's uphill all the way to the refuge at 3200m along a stony track . When you get there the accommodation is, as you would expect, quite basic. We stayed in a mixed dormitory of 26 people. Cozy isn't the word as there is no gap between individual mattresses. The walk from the refuge to the top of the mountain (another 1000m) is a challenge both in terms of terrain and, in my case, altitude sickness. We started off at 2.30am to try and get to the top for the sunrise. The start is more of a scramble over rocks which, in wet weather could present an even bigger challenge once slippery. A really good headtorch is essential and make sure you've done some hill training before setting off because if you don't, you'll suffer. Once the peak had been conquered we made our way back to the refuge and back to Imlil for the night. The next day it was off again and onwards to the Sahara. This is a long drive but sight seeing along the way was well organised and stunning - Dades Gorge, The Monkey Fingers and more. The camel ride was just over an hour long to the Berber camp. Wear long trousers for the camel ride to prevent chaffing!! Then the heavens opened. Torrential rain, lightning, thunder, howling wind - in the desert ?! BUT, we all survived and came out unscathed. The Berber ' accommodation stood up really well to the weather. Showers and toilets were clean and again, plenty of hot water. The next day was a long long drive back to Marrakech. It took approximately 10 hours. If your flight is supposed to be on that day you might want to consider staying over an extra night as we did. It gave us the opportunity to shower, relax, change clothes and have another half day sightseeing in the city. Again Hotel Ali was the chosen accommodation. If you're looking for a challenge, fantastic scenery and to experience a very different culture then this may well be the trip for you. I will certainly book other trips through Skyhook.

It was a brilliant experience. The mountain guides, muleteers, chef and drivers were all personable and cheerful. Food were fresh and delicious. Accommodations were comfortable except the Refuge du Toubkal, it was windy so door needs to be closed. Hence, it was warm and bit suffocating. Otherwise, everything is perfection. Lahousine, the Atlas Vertical manager has welcomed us in his own Riad with Moroccan tea and wafers and he served our dinner. He made us felt at home. The group that we went with were all amazing and inspiring. Moroccan is truly magnificent!

A tour that we would definitely recommend and could do it again! Our group was diverse and our guide, Mads, was very patient and always there when someone assistance, he was very organized, from meal planning to keeping us in schedule, quickly adjusting plans when needed and it was clear he knew the area and the route which gave us confidence and allowed us to fully enjoy the journey. The trip had its challenges, when we had to camp in rainy weather or when we had to paddle against the wind. The food was great, and cooking together with the group added a fun, communal element, you gotta be a team player here. The group itself was fantastic, and the route we followed had the perfect mix of stunning scenery, adventure, and variety. It was a trip that really pushed us out of our comfort zone (mostly my friend 😅) and left us with unforgettable memories. Thanks!

One thing that could be better is the packing list - I carried many things per the packing list circulated, which weren’t needed at all and could have spared me the weight (thankfully, could leave them all behind in the van while we backpacked!). Just got back from Toubkal hike with skyhook. Lhouceine arranged all our transfers to and from Marrakech to and from Imlil and Jawad was our guide. I wish I could remember the names of everyone else who was involved in making this trip so amazing. So firstly thanks to our private chef and guy with the mule who moved our stuff up and down the mountain. Food was generous, nutritious and delicious especially the omelette. Thanks for the offer of the ride down on your mule. There were definitely moments that I wish I had accepted. Thanks to all the family at the riad in Imlil. I felt very safe and welcome. You have a beautiful place. Thanks to everyone at the refugee. The atmosphere is energetic and friendly. It was clean and the shower hot. Thanks to Lhouceine and our drivers who sorted transfers from Marrakech to Imlil. Friendly smiles and great communication. Last but not least a big thank you to Jawad our guide. We were in good and kind hands for sure. Your knowledge and love of the mountain(s) was inspiring to be around. Thank you for sharing it with me. I won't forget my trip. What an amazing trip! From the first contact with Skyhook everything was organised and well communicated making me feel prepared and ready for the adventure ahead. The Nordic Paddling experience was beyond all of my expectations. The kit was of a high standard and our guide, Sandra, was extremely capable, confident and fun to be around. She gave the impression that she genuinely cared about us as individuals and of our enjoyment as a group. The activities and our guide Sandra is a five star review. Loved the Kayaking and the Hike and our guide Sandra was super helpful, knowledgeable and all round great person. Our driver to/from the hike and airport was also super helpful. The drop of one star is for the camp site. Appreciate it is wild camping but we had torrential rain on the first day so when we turned up most of the location was very boggy and a few of the tents leaked which tested us. A simple canopy to put up to give us somewhere for us all to sit comfortably outside would have made a massive difference. Bar that, great trip and would recommend - just make sure you take some warm layers for the evenings.

Our legs were aching for two days after! The sightseeing elements were all interesting with good stopping points along the way for great lunches. The hotel in Dades Valley was fab. Hassan was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating as our driver. The desert experience was great if not a little touristy! The ‘reception’ hotel was a little disappointing as the launch and return point for the camel ride. This was the only slightly poor element - the breakfast was awful. The tents were hot in the dunes and not as remote as you would imagine and the food was basic. The stars were incredible and the camel ride was good fun there and back. The whole experience was extremely positive and I can definitely recommend this tour to any intrepid explorers. We really got under the skin of Morocco and saw the best of it in a safe way.

This was a phenomenal trip that I couldn't have imagined the realities of if I'd tried. I came with no canoe experience and somehow made it all the way. Chucky and Robson made sure we were safe despite atrocious weather and some challenging conditions, all while keeping smiles on their and our faces. The scenery was stunning, camping was fun, food was good, and although we did not meet Nessie, we did see other wildlife including eagles, osprey and fallow deer. Cannot recommend this highly enough. Just remember your waterproofs 😆.

An absolutely fantastic experience, conducted with high professional assistance by Chucky and Robson. They gave you ever encouragement when you were in that “can’t do this mode” it is a thing not to take lightly when cold wet, sore but WOW -definitely do this again. Living and breathing this beautiful landscape. The trip is not actually eight days! You count the day you pick us up at the airport, which is very misleading. Then you included the day I went to sacred Valley, which wasn’t really part of the Salkantay Trek. Additionally, you also consider the day after Machu Pichu as another day! that’s very misleading. Your tour guide was excellent (Max). However, two of the days were spent wasting time during morning and lunch breaks. Many of the hikers would have preferred to arrive at camp earlier and have time for themselves. I will not be booking any future treks with you and I will not be recommending your company to others.

Wow, what a trip!! I was travelling alone on my 25th birthday and thanks to the best people and the best views / locations, I had the most incredible time of my life. Tom was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, funny, caring and informative. It was my first time doing anything like this, and I was definitely one of the slowest in the group but Tom and the rest of the group helped me along and gave me lots of tips. The huts were all perfect. The food was always 10/10, they were cosy and the views were incredible. The views of the Matterhorn on day 3 were out of this world. This was a trip I will never forget and I strongly encourage everyone to do it! I met an incredible group of people, saw some incredible sights and made memories for life!

Wow, what a county! And what an epic adventure. Received many updates pre trip which was great, kit list also. The kayaking, hiking were fantastic. The camping too. We had alot of rain, so made the camping hard, but the tour guide Adam, kept very professional and calm and dealt with everything calmly. The only down points, the linen in the lodge, could do with being regularly changed or replaced, the camp site is very basic, and you really do get involved in everything, setting up tents, cooking, washing, carrying the kayaks. The camp site could do with some added extras, in case of rain fall.

Last year our group did the 4 day tour of Mont Blanc through SkyHook, so we were expecting an easier hike after looking at the details of this one - how wrong we were! The Grand Paradiso is a beautiful and really spectacular hike. It has some tough climbs, especially on the second day, but worth it when you get to the highest peak of the day. If you are thinking of doing this trip, then a really good level of fitness is required, also a head for nights, as in places the footpaths are very precarious. The accommodation is good if you don’t mind dorms; the evening meals are good and breakfast is basic - bread and cereal. Our guide Roberto was excellent. He is very experienced and was patient with those slower walkers in our group. Also offered good tips on using poles and walking up and down the mountains. This was an experience of a lifetime and we are really pleased we took up the challenge. We would highly recommend this hike, but make sure you train for it.

After doing the Tour du Mont Blanc last year, this years hike is definitely for the more experienced hiker. Personally, I found this hike a huge challenge. The trek goes through some pretty hair raising terrain, with some very risky drops and challenging climbs, which I found really hard to get through. However, now I’m safety at home reflecting on the whole experience, I can say that this is one of the hardest, but most rewarding things I have ever done. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and not just because of the relentless upward steep climb…. they are truly amazing! The organisation of the hike is well worth all the effort, and the sleeping arrangements and the evening meals etc are a huge part of the fun aspect of the trip. Our guide, Roberto is a fantastic guy. His knowledge of the mountains is brilliant, and I have never seen anyone skip across a glacier to rescue a fallen hiker so amazingly quickly in my life. There are only a few points that I do feel could have made it all so much better, and that’s the breakfasts and packed lunches from the chalets. The coffee was great, but the breakfast food on offer could have been better. There were better chalets than others for the breakfast offering, and that was the same for the packed lunches. The last thing I wanted to eat when I was hot, tired, thirsty and hungry was a really stale bread roll with a single slice of ham. However, the evening meals absolutely made up for it, great Italian hospitality. Chalet de Epeé being a huge favourite. Anyway, this was an awesome experience that I was able to share with my amazing family, and made some great friends along the way, but it is certainly not for the faint hearted!!!

Wonderful outdoor experience! I recently had an incredible experience with Alps Adventures, and I highly recommend them! From start to finish, everything was amazing. The views on the hike were breathtaking, the accommodations were comfortable and cosy, and the food was delicious. Don't miss out on trying the local cheese and home-baked cakes. They were a treat! The mountain team and the Sahara excursion team were truly fantastic….big shout out to Omar on the mountain and Hassan, our driver. The people of Morocco, the sights of Morocco and the food of Morocco were the true stars of the trip…such a beautiful country. What an amazing trip!!! We are still processing the volume of things we experienced between the mountain and the desert, an absolute lifetime of memories packed into less than a week! Lahouceine, Omar and Hassan were phenomenal hosts and guides - always putting our safety and experience first, and ensuring our comfort throughout. The footage we captured on tour will never replicate the journey our senses took through Morocco. The local people were the kindest we have ever met, and meeting our fellow trekkers was an absolute pleasure. We have now returned home from this enlightening and life-affirming trip, and we're already planning our next trip with Skyhook!

What an amazing experience. I booked as a solo paddler (no experience) and from the get go had the best time. Sam and Geoff, our guides were fantastic, we all had utter trust in them, despite some hairy (and windy) times across Loch Ness. The wild camping was beautiful, the sites gave us some beautiful evenings, fire on the beach etc. At the end of the day, if you don't eat well then you are grumpy....we ate amazingly well! Evening meals cooked by Sam and Geoff, an always available snack barrel and brews from the Kelly kettle kept us all happy. And over 5 days a group of 13 individuals forged a friendship you rarely encounter nowadays. I can't recommend the trip highly enough.

The trip was a phenomenal week filled with new experiences and lessons, I'm so glad I went. Highlights were sheltering under tarpaulins as we waited for a fierce Scottish thunderstorm to pass, and using makeshift sails to travel at 10mph across Loch Ness. The guides (Sam and Geoff) who took us were incredible and I always felt so safe, even in choppier waters which could have been scary if they weren't so confident and skilled. Amidst it all, we had time to relax in nature without the distractions of normal life. In the run up to the trip, I was worried it might be boring or that it would be too hard - it was neither. It was at times very relaxing and at times exhilarating, but it wasn't too physically demanding. The group was a bit of a mixed bunch. I was the youngest (mid-twenties) with most in their 50's and a few possibly reaching 70. Of the 13 on our trip, some were siblings / spouses / friends / work colleagues, and there were 4 of us who were solo travellers. People came from various different backgrounds and had different canoeing experience, but everyone got on so well, and we had a fabulous time together. All of the kit provided was in excellent condition, although the kit list we were sent was a bit overwhelming. I found the wildcamping particularly life-affirming and cannot thank Sam and Geoff (as well as Chucky and Skyhook) enough for helping to make it happen. I've already recommended the trip to several people.

Did the trip in August and it was fabulous. Our guide Lolotte was amazing, very encouraging and engaging, great fun and an all round fantastic guide. The trip was great from start to finish. We were lucky to get fab weather throughout and the scenery is just amazing. The daily hikes were briefed to us beforehand and we had lovely places to stop for lunches and regular stops for water etc. I found day 2 a challenge with the incline in the heat but I got used to the routine and it was perfect. The huts were all great and I managed to sleep well enough. The food was brilliant considering the remoteness and the numbers being catered for. If you're up for a hike with stunning scenery and are happy to muck in with eating n sleeping in close quarters to complete strangers then you'll love it. Thanks to Lolotte and my fellow hikers for a wonderful trip.

Overall, I enjoyed this trip. Didn't get off to the best start with the campsite move and lack of clarity with plans and a lot of waiting around ; but a big thank you to Angela for her thoughtfulness and efforts to sort things out. Saturday and Sunday were better. Matt and Tobias were great leaders those days, and looked after the group really well. We had some changes of plans due to the sea conditions but everyone made the best of it. The location is stunning, the views when kayaking were amazing and it was - overall - good fun.

The trip from start to finish was professionally executed. from the Marrakech pickup to the hike and hostel. we stayed a night in Imlil in a beautiful lodge (with amazing views of the stars) and tasty Moroccan food. Then Muhamad, our guide appeared in the morning, laid out the plan and off we set. He is so friendly, speaks French, Arabic, Spanish and English fluently, and knows absolutely everyone. He was very attentive but also knew when to let the group just speak between themselves. one of our group got into some knee trouble on the descent fromt the refuge and he arranged a donkey to carry them. An absolute wizard! I will say though, to summit at sunrise (+1000m) you need to hike in the dark, and then descend back to the refuge for a break before descendingthe remaining 1500m to Imlil. it's quite difficult, but Muhamad really knows his stuff. what he can't know is if you need more of a break after the summit, and after speaking with him and the lodge, it's something that they can do. Something to keep in mind. 100%. Also, don't forget the cook and donkey, amazing food and he pretty much did most of the hike leading a donkey. He contributed almost as much as Mohamad! totally made our vacation.

A wonderful adventure, despite lashings of rain. Camp was wet and boggy, kayaks and tents leaked, there was very little undercover space, but our guide was incredibly positive, supportive and full of enthusiasm. It’s a beautiful part of the world and this trip is a great way to experience it. The equipment list was super helpful, although taking multiple smaller dry bags would be beneficial for ease of packing into the kayaks (and as extra water protection!)

The view, the mountains, the landscape was amazing, spectacular and beautiful. The guide Enrico was really nice, funny,communicative and shared a lot of information about the nature, hiking experience, Italian culture, etc. It would have been useful to get more information about the daily route types, km-s, ascent, descent,timing, etc. The last day descent part was really challenging..and we had to go back to the initial point. The accomodations were good, clean and nice, but once the lunch box included dry white bread.. First dinner was acceptable but the quantity was really few. The breakfasts were too expensive taking into consideration that they were only dry white bread with sweet things, and salty options were never provided. I also missed the group building from the first evening.

I was on a Tour du Mont Blanc hike with Oli as the tour guide / hike leader from August 3 – 12, 2024 and I wanted to take this opportunity to complement Oli on how he led the group of 10 hikers over the course of 10 days. I do feel, as a hike leader of my hiking club, that Oli demonstrated a great deal of patience and excellent leadership skills during the 10 days we were together. As with any group who have not hiked together before, there were hikers who were faster than others and Oli took care to maintain a pace that was good for all members and often stayed with the slower group to ensure that no one felt that they were left behind. He made sure to give everyone a briefing each day on what to expect the next day and pointed out “points of interest” during the hike. He was also very patient with all members of the group and handled any questions or concerns with grace and patience. On a more humorous note, I think his picnic lunches were better that then the lunches prepared by the various refugios we stayed at. In summary, I felt that Oli made a challenging 10-day adventure, doable and enjoyable. Please pass on my compliments to Oli and let him know how much I appreciated his leadership.

This was an amazingly beautiful hike through valleys, pastures and woodlands reaching very remote spots and high places where we felt on top of the world! Lolotte was a lovely relaxed guide who clearly loves her job and we were blessed with 4 days of gorgeous sunshine. Do a little hill walking training if you are considering this trip as the ascents can be steep and lengthy, but very achievable and there is no rush. I would definitely do this hike again as I loved every minute of it :)

I booked this trip as a solo adventure wanting to experience Mont Blanc and meet new people. The Tour du Mont Blanc exceeded all expectations, it is a tour and so much more. The scenery, our guide, our group....all were fantastic and I couldn't have wished for a better experience. 5 stars! Accommodated to us as a family! Amazing experience- fabulous food. Our guides Mark (1 day) and Vic (4 days) were so friendly and made us feel safe for the whole trip! They were so encouraging of our children and we felt a real sense of accomplishment when we made it to lochness despite the very wet weather conditions. Compliments to Jules for the homemade cakes, flapjacks and of the water snacks. Thank you vic for the fire despite the very wet sticks and the endless hot drinks that kept us nice and warm! We had the best adventure! It wasn't quite the trip I had been expecting as it was much more 'wild' than supported. But that added to the adventure. It was well organised, beautiful scenery and lovely company. Geoff and James were fantastic guides, we always felt like we were in safe hands even when the wind and waves got up a bit. You do need a certain level of fitness and stamina to cope and an adventure mindset. The food G and J prepared each day for us was great and the treat barrel kept us all going! Hope to do another one sometime soon. Would highly recommend to those who like the outdoors, can rough it for a few days in order to see Scotland in a different light from the water!

A fantastic trip. Geoff and James could were brilliant, kept us organised, safe and made sure we had fun. We couldn’t have asked for more. The views were breathtaking; we paddled and sailed; swam in the lochs; had campfires on the beach; camped in the woods and on the beach; had our own woodland olympics and had more food than we could possibly want. Our guide Laurence is amazing! She keeps the entire group safe and entertained. She patiently waited for us when we struggle (with the heat and backpacks) pointed out few Marmot along the way. If we are booking this again, i would love to have her be out guide. Great tour. Another thing to consider (if possible) is to have an option (when booking) for backpack/luggage transfer from and to accommodations that are accessible by car, this will make the tour more enjoyable.

It was great, great location, scenery etc. Food was great, we were well looked after. The guides Sam and Robson,looked after us .. they coached us to nicely build our skills during the week so when it came to the hard part we were ready, and it was tough but thrilling.... only thing I could recommend might be, if you know in advance re. The 60l bag also included tent and sleeping bag and mat, I would have packed differently. Also, we got a lot of rain the first day, if there was suggestion to bring a temporary clothes line and cover, would have been great. We were able to dry clothes kind of by fire. It's a little thing that could improve the comfort, especially if say we had 2 days of heavy rain. But then again it is wild camping. But overall great, really enjoyed it... got in for a dip in the lakes most days also.. and of course guides were great.

Just sitting in Vert lodge looking back on the last 4 days. Just WOW!!!!!!! This is not a beginners walk in the park. Its tough. It was totally awesome. Our guide Grigor was ace, not only did he lead the way but he was very knowledgeable about the local area, wildlife and flowers. The scenery was more than my eyes could believe, it has been so beautiful to say the least. This hike is not for faint hearted. It is hard, it’s taxing, gruelling and absolutely wonderful, just be fit for it. The accommodation on all days has its unique points. With the right frame of mind, you will absolutely absorb it all and love the experience. Would do it all over again.

What a fantastic trip this was. We ended on being a few hours late due to a delayed flight so Skyhook ensured a private taxi was arranged to collect us as the delay meant be missed the transfer. We ended up arriving at the accommodation around midnight but despite this, a table was layed out for us and we were given an entire meal which we were so grateful for after a long journey and quite a stressful day. The trip was really well organised and run by a friendly and knowledgable team including our hosts, the guides and the chef who prepared our food each day which was lovely. All welcomed us in and made sure we were safe and very well fed! This trip was such a great adventure and we would certainly recommend it to others.

First of all a massive shout out to Camilla who had to deal with 8 rowdy Welsh lads and welcomed and accepted us straight away with no judgement, wot a lovely woman absolute star. Also there was 2 other girls in our group who accepted our banter lol so we all had a good time, it was amazing. From the camp, walk and kayaking I'd say it's up there with the best trips I've been on and the views from everywhere was jst breathtaking. Norway it's self is just a beautiful place so clean, beautiful and all the locals are so happy and nice. Id highly recommend the Nordic paddling group. Once again a big thanks to Camilla our guide wot a woman. Also a thanks to Maria u was our chef for the first evening and also so happy and kind such lovely people. I could type for ages about how good it was but get over there your self and experience it for yourself 👌👌. Amazing ❤️❤️.

What an epic adventure!!! I loved feeling so small in such a massive landscape! The trip was really well organized. Brillant trip. Would highly recommend. Booked as a solo traveller and the group was really good fun.
